Review the mission requirements for each competition class to determine best placement for your team. Keep in mind that only RANGER or EXPLORER class winning team(s) will move on to the International MATE Competition. This regional will send one RANGER team with the overall highest score to Internationals if we have at least 5 registered teams in that class. We can send an additional second-place team to Internationals with 11 or more registered teams in RANGER class.
The Gray's Reef Southeast MATE ROV Competition will take place on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at the Chatham County Aquatic Center (7240 Sallie Mood Drive Savannah, GA 31406). Early-bird check-in and safety inspections will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Register your interest for early-bird here. Additional safety inspections will be held on Saturday after arrival.
Team registration is NOW OPEN through April 6, 2018. All coaches and team members are required to register for participation and all applicable waivers must be on file. Teams opting to use hydraulics or pneumatics must pass a safety exam prior to being allowed those items on the pool deck. This exam will close on March 16, 2018.
